Regional Operations Manager
Youssef joined AEE Power in 2011, beginning a professional career that has led him to his current position as Regional Operations Manager.
Between 2014 and 2018 he was posted to the Democratic Republic of Congo as Resident Project Manager, where he simultaneously led several energy infrastructure projects for different clients, heading mixed teams of expatriate and local staff, through to their successful completion.
This experience in Africa strengthened his leadership skills and gave him an in-depth understanding of the continent’s energy market. Later, as Projects Group Manager, he has led projects in countries such as the Central African Republic, Ivory Coast, Angola, Senegal, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Niger.
Youssef is an Industrial Engineer from the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers of Málaga, and complements his technical training with specializations in renewable energy and project management.
